The Managing Director of the Ports and Maritime Organization, stating that the communication and media activities of the Public Relations Office have played an effective role in better understanding of this organization among the public opinion and its specific audience, emphasized: “The key role of the communication and media field in identifying the country's maritime authority cannot be ignored.”
According to the public relations of the Ports
and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province, Mohammad Rastad in Ceremony of the
National Day of Communication and Public Relations, referring to the Ports and
Maritime Organization as a specialized organization, noted that the
organization has tried to be leader in preparing specialized news. He stated: “One
of the most important points in providing accurate news coverage is that the
main source provides timely information on the news topics.”
Referring to the high impact of the broadcast
of the third season of the "Lighthouse" program on television, he
said: “this program has been able to fully contribute to promote of maritime
culture. The lighthouse program was designed and produced to
provide a clear picture of the state of the country's coastline. The high
reception of the general audience and the port and maritime community of the
country has confirmed the success and effectiveness of this program.”
Referring to the high ranking of the Ports and
Maritime Organization in terms of news and media activities among other
executive bodies of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, the Deputy
Minister of Roads and Urban Development said: “in the meetings
of the Council of Deputies of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development and
in presenting the performance reports of the agencies, the Ports and Maritime
Organization and its authorities in different provinces are always among the high
performance ranks.”
In the end, Rastad added: "The culture
that has been created based on the production of news, content, communication
with the audience and the use of cyberspace, must be maintained and all units
of the organization are obliged to continue this successful process, facilitate
cooperation and coordinate the related matters.”
It is worth mentioning that the public
relations staff of the Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province as well
as public relations staff of the other ports met with the Managing Director of
the Ports and Maritime Organization via video conference and then an intimate
meeting was held with the Director General of Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan
Province.
