The Director General of Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province announced four basic and construction dredging projects in Anzali Port during the "Shanbe-Bazare Roga Dredging Review Meeting".
According to the public relations of the
General Administration of Ports and Maritime of Guilan Province, this afternoon
"Shanbe-Bazare
Roga Dredging Review Meeting" was held in Anzali Port with
the presence of the Director General of Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan
Province, General Director of the Fisheries Organization, General Director of
the Environmental Organization, General Director of Regional Water Organization
of the Province, the director general of the Provincial Crisis Management and
the chairman of the Guilan Provincial Assembly.
Dr. Hamidreza Abaie, the Director General of
Ports and Maritime of Authority Guilan Province in this meeting, referring to
their activities in Anzali Port, stated: “Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan
Province, according to its inherent duties, should provide a suitable basin for
its 16 active berth posts in the Anzali Port Complex, for which many measures
have been taken.”
Referring to the connection of the lagoon to
the basin of Anzali Port and the presence of a lot of sediments caused 4 large
dredging projects to be predicted in this city, he noted: “Maintaining the
allowable depth in the berths by dredging to a depth of 7 meters is one of the
main projects of Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province, and the
contract to create a suitable bed in the lagoon and the creation of sediment
traps was the second dredging project.”
Abaie added: “Dredging of the eastern basin of
Anzali Port in the amount of 1.2 million cubic meters, which is one of the
construction projects of the Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province,
as well as dredging of Shanbe-Bazare Roga, which has been done in the amount of 120,000
cubic meters to date and with a credit of 240 billion Rials has been funded from
the resources of the Ports and Maritime Organization are among from the
dredging project of the Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province in the Anzali
Port.”
The Director General of Ports and Maritime Authoriyu
of Guilan Province, referring to the transfer of dredging materials to a place
for the depot, stated: “The cost of transferring dredging materials is very
significant and high, and we expect the Environment Organization to determine a
place for the depot.”
Referring to the cooperation of all agencies,
he acknowledged: "With teamwork, effort and diligence of all agencies, we
can make big and good changes for the environment and future generations."
