The transportation of refrigerated containers through the port of Astara to Kazakhstan was increased via the port of Actau.
According to the Public Relations of Ports and Maritime
Authority of Guilan Province, Astara Port Complex, which had joined the
refrigerated container shipping network in the Caspian Sea two weeks ago, on
Saturday, November 7, saw the export of all kinds of refrigerated and ordinary
goods from various provinces to Kazakhstan via the port of Aktau.
This regular container
liner service between Astara and Aktau ports (Kazakhstan), which is performed
every two weeks, has been launched in cooperation with Kaveh Port and Maritime
Services Company (developer and developer of Astara port) and Caspian Sea
shipping with the Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province and members
of various chambers of commerce, especially the provinces of Guilan, West and
East Azerbaijan.
This project is being
developed by forming a depot to supply refrigerated and non-refrigerated
containers needed by the owners of goods in Astara port complex and handing
over the mentioned containers to export and transit affairs to the applicants.
We will see more prosperity in this field in the coming months.
