Director General of Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province on the sidelines of the power outage maneuver of Anzali Port Complex, stating that even in case of power outage in Anzali Port, 24-hour port services will be provided, said: “In the new phase of Anzali Port, all diesel generators and emergency power systems should be considered based on the real needs of the next 10 years, and the generators of the old berth posts should be upgraded.”
According to the Public Relations of the Ports and
Maritime Authority of Guilan Province, on the morning of Wednesday, January 13th,
Dr. Hamidreza Abaie stated on the sidelines of the power outage maneuver of the
Anzali port complex: “This maneuver was held in order to evaluate and increase
the readiness of the port staff.”
He said that this maneuver was held in memory
of General Haj Qassem Soleimani, adding: “in this maneuver, the power of Anzali
Port was cut off and all port operations continued using the diesel generators
and emergency generators of this port well and easily.”
The Director General of Ports and
Maritime Authority of Guilan Province, stating that in previous years, emergency
electricity had not been transmitted to the cranes of berth No.1 to 10, noted: “By
doing this maneuver, for the first time in Anzali Port, all cranes were
equipped with emergency power.”
Abai continued: "Now, in the event of a
power outage, Anzali Port can supply the electricity power for the cranes with
the diesel power of emergency generators and continue the loading and unloading
operations (especially for the ships carrying wheat and basic goods) around the
clock so that there is no disruption in the operation process.

considered with the needs of the past, which by identifying its weaknesses and
reviewing solutions to reconstruct and Their update was included in the future
plans of the General Administration of Ports and Maritime Affairs of Gilan
Province.

and now by identifying their weaknesses and reviewing existing solutions,
reconstructing and updating of them was included in the list of future plans of
the Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province.”
He considered it necessary to update the power
generators of Anzali port complex and said: In the new phase of Anzali Port, all
diesel generators and emergency power systems should be considered based on the
real needs of the next 10 years and the generators of the old berth posts
should be upgraded.”
Abaie stated that if this is realized, port
services will be provided 24 hours a day, even in times of power outage crisis.
He continued: “Due to the change in the
approach of Anzali port complex from loading and unloading of iron to grain,
another issue is the rainfall and humidity, which causes the services not to be
performed as we intended. Therefore, we must build and operate the covered berths
using the capabilities of the private sector as soon as possible.”
