Parade of Naval Vessels in Anzali Port on the Occasion of the Arrival of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in Iran
With the presence of the General Director of Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province and other officials of Anzali Port-City, a parade of sea vessels was held on the occasion of the arrival of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran in Anzali Port Complex.

According to the Public Relations of the Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province, this morning, January 31, coinciding with the anniversary of the victory of the glorious Islamic Revolution and the memory of the historic arrival of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini, to Iran a parade of sea vessels was held and the horns of the vessels present in this parade as well as the merchant ships moored at the berths of Anzali Port Complex were sounded.

More than 30 vessels from the Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province, the Navy, the Environmental Protection Organization, the Fisheries Organization and the Red Crescent Organization participated in the parade. These vessels renewed their covenant with the holy ideals of the Islamic Republic, Imam Komeini (God’s mercy upon him), the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, as well as the precious martyrs, by paying their respects and waving the holy flag of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to the Public Relations of the Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province, 42 years ago, on February 1, 1979, Imam Khomeini (God’s mercy upon him), the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, after years away from his homeland, returned to the country amidst the enthusiastic welcome of the Iranian people and a new and brilliant chapter in the history of Iran began.

His arrival in the country was an unforgettable day for the people who had spent their entire struggle through his recorded statements and voices.
