This afternoon, the Director General of Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province visited the 7th Azar Shipbuilding Complex.
According to the public
relations of the Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province, at noon on Saturday, February 13th,
Dr. Hamidreza Abaie - the Director General of Ports and Maritime Authority
of Guilan Province - together with
the Managing Director of Caspian Sea Shipping Co. and CEO of 7th Azar
Shipbuilding visited the infrastructure and capabilities of the 7th
Azar shipbuilding Complex in order to create integration and also decide on the
use of shipbuilding and ship repair sites in Guilan Province and also use the
existing capacities in the province.
Other objectives of the
visit were to review problems, resolve legal issues and permits, including the
need to renew the shipbuilding license, operational measures for dredging, and
the entry of vessels into the area.
It is worth mentioning
that due to the existing capacities in Guilan province, such as 7th
Azar and Shahid Tamjidi shipbuilding complexes, as well as the creation of new
capacities, appropriate measures have been taken to provide services to ships
owned by the country. In this regard, after reviewing and identifying the
shortcomings and underlying problems, a shipbuilding factory complementing
these industries will be established in Anzali Port.
