Increasing the Strategic Equipment of Guilan Ports with the Use of Domestic Power in order to fulfill the Slogan of the Year 1400
Explaining the most important goals and maritime and port programs of this province in 1400, the director general of Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province said: “increasing the loading and unloading norms and increasing the traffic, transit and export of goods are on the agenda of this year.”

According to the public relations of the Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province, Dr. Hamidreza Abaie in an interview, in relation to the most important port and maritime goals and programs of Guilan Province in 1400, stated: “various goals have been defined in 1400 with the slogan of "production, support and dismantling". Some of these goals include increasing the capability of strategic equipment using the potentials of specialists and domestic manufacturers, increasing the loading and unloading rates of various goods, increasing export efficiency, and  taking advantage of the opportunity to create a regular Ro-Ro Shipping line in Anzali Port to increase traffic, transit and export of goods, as well as adopting a policy of attracting and investing in the construction of silos and shipbuilding industries by the private sector in Anzali Port.”  

The Most Important Port Goals of Guilan Province This Year

Regarding the most important goals of the port of Guilan province this year, he said: “increasing the tonnage of loading and unloading from 1.5 million tons last year to two million tons using grain suction equipment with a capacity of 300 tons per hour and strategic equipment arrived in Anzali Port and improving the performance of port indicators (Time Service - Part Time Waiting Time) with the benefit of new berths and advanced equipment are among the defined goals.”

The Director General of Ports and Maritime of Authority of Guilan Province added: “increasing the loading and unloading rates of all kinds of goods, increasing export efficiency and also two-headed fully loaded vessels to have savings in the maritime transport economy, construction and operation of grain infrastructure and oil tanks using the potentials of the private sector in the ports of the province and also taking advantage of the opportunity to create a regular shipping line in Anzali Port to increase traffic and transit and export goods and trucks directly from origin to destination are other goals in 1400 that we will take a step towards their realization.”

Pointing out that this year, establishing a direct software connection with the Roads Administration and Customs in order to accelerate and facilitate the transportation of goods, concluding at least 3 investment contracts in the construction of silos and oil tanks, as well as establishing shipbuilding industries in Anzali Port Complex are on the agenda, he said: “Providing preparations for the construction of refrigeration warehouses and sorting goods in the port complex to develop the export of refrigeration goods, reconstruction and supply of behind-the-line equipment and increase the capability of strategic equipment by using experts and domestic producers are other programs defined in Guilan ports.”

Abaie continued: “Designing and manufacturing equipment tools such as metal plates and spreaders in order to expedite the loading of exported goods to the vessels, reviewing and eliminating unnecessary processes in the field of documentary and operational services based on defined standards, improving the safety of the port and developing a safety culture, adopting a policy of attracting and investing in the construction of silos and shipbuilding industries by the private sector in Anzali Port, as well as electronic request for documentary and operational services to expedite and facilitate the affairs of port stakeholders without face-to-face visits are among the future plans of Guilan Ports.”

The Most Important Maritime Goals of Guilan Province in 1400

The Director General of Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province, in relation to the most important maritime goals and programs in 1400, stated: “Centralized inspection of conventional vessels based on the declaration plan and implementation of centralized inspection of non-conventional vessels based on the center declaration plan are among our goals.”

Abaie added: “Identifying and analyzing maritime risks and taking action to reduce the risks by 50%, continuing the process of registering unidentified boats in the province and identifying legal gaps in implementing the requirements of the maritime labor agreement to establish national laws and regulations are among other programs that we will take step towards their realization.”

Pointing out that monitoring and measuring the status of radio coverage of the waters of Guilan province is on the agenda in order to do the necessary identifications and follow-ups to meet the needs of telecommunications equipment with the aim of improving the radio coverage of the province, he said: “Organizing the province's savior partners, upgrading the marine telecommunication equipment of Chamkhaleh center, fulfilling the annual volume commitment of dredging notified by the organization in the form of Anzali Port Waterway Safety Contract are some of the other maritime programs of Guilan Province this year.”
