Anzali port complex with
a 300-year history in the field of maritime transport has now been a well-known
brand in the region and has always been considered by merchants and traders in
the country.
Anzali port complex is one
of the oldest ports in Iran and one of the most important and largest ports in
the north of the country. This port complex, having been located in
international corridors such as Nostrak and Trasica, etc., has long been
responsible for a prominent role in the maritime transport industry with the
Caspian Sea Littoral States and European countries.
Anzali port with 17 berths
and the possibility of loading and unloading 10 million tons of goods per year
is the largest and most equipped Iranian port on the Caspian Sea.
Unfortunately, in spite
of all the coordination, measures and consultations carried out in attracting
cargo and goods and using modern and up-to-date equipment, which caused us to
witness a growth of up to 35% in 1399 AH compared to the previous year, with
the abolition of VAT exemption in the first quarter of this year, we have faced
a reduction in discharges of more than 20%.
The multi-purpose port of
Astara with an area of 55 hectares is the first private sector port in the
country and the closest and most cost-effective route for trade and
transportation of goods between Asia, Africa and Europe and has 2 berths.
