Coordination Meeting of Vessel Lease Contract in order to Ensure Waterway Safety in the Northern Part of the Country
This morning, a coordination meeting of the vessel lease contract was held in order to ensure waterway safety in the northern part of the country in the Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province.

According to the Public Relations of Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province, on Tuesday morning, September 7, the coordination meeting of the vessel lease contract to ensure waterway safety in the northern part of the country were held in the conference hall of the Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province with the presence of Director General of Ports and Maritime Authority of  Guilan Province, General  Manager of Maritime Safety and Protection Affairs Department of Ports and Maritime Organization, as well as the deputies and maritime representatives of the northern ports.

In this meeting, reviewing and determining the assignment of the contract notice, determining the assignment of the remaining obligations of the tenant company in the previous contract, the method of holding coordination meetings of this contract, reviewing and approving the schedule announced by the company, reviewing the salaries of operational personnel of this contract and the company's plans to compensate for the dredging volume set for ports were discussed.

It is worth mentioning that the Maritime Safety and Protection Department is responsible for maintaining the safety of vessels and ships in the territory of territorial waters, access channels to ports and anchorages and port basins. The main tasks of this office include managing and maintaining navigation aids; managing, directing and executing dredging operations; managing, directing and executing the hydrographic operations; managing the naval search and rescue operations; managing the main and secondary centers of maritime search and rescue coordination; and managing and implementing the operations to combat marine environmental pollution caused by petroleum and non-petroleum products.
