On the occasion of Passive Defense Week, the unveiling ceremony of the detailed study plan of passive defense of the Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province and obtaining a health license for grain storage in Anzali Port was held in the presence of national and provincial officials.
According to the public relations of the Ports and Maritime Authority
of Guilan Province, on Sunday, October 31, in honor of Passive Defense Week,
the unveiling ceremony of the detailed study plan of passive defense of the Ports
and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province and obtaining a health license for
grain storage in Anzali Port Complex was
held in the conference hall of the Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan
Province in compliance with health protocols in the presence of Director General
of Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province, Director of Safety, Health
and Environment (HSE) and Head of Crisis Management and Passive Defense of the
Ports and Maritime Organization, Vice Chancellor of Malek Ashtar University, Director
General of Passive Defense and General Director of Crisis Management of Guilan
Province, Member of the board of Anzali Free Zone and CEO of the Caspian
Shipping Company. In this ceremony,
51 colleagues and partner organizations in crisis management and vaccination
were honored.
In this detailed plan of
passive defense, topics such as concepts and physical knowledge of the port,
review and identification of port operational processes and determine the
importance of each of them, identify threats with the approach of man-made
threats and natural hazards of the port, risk analysis of various elements of port,
quality risk assessment of each element in the main performance chain of the
port, as well as providing solutions and methods to improve the elements of the
port and determine their priority and prepare tender documents are among the
items that have been studied and reported.
It is worth mentioning
that the 30th October is the anniversary of the Supreme Leader's
decree to form a permanent committee for passive defense, and this day has been
named Passive Defense Day in the official calendar of the country with the
approval of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution.
Passive defense goals
include the protection of people's lives and property, facilities,
infrastructure, economic resources, and cultural and political capital, but its
main result is to identify the hazards and ways to deal with them.
