The deputy of the passive defense organization of the country said: “We saw a good and satisfactory performance in the passive defense maneuver of Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province.”
According to the public
relations report of Ports and Maritime Authority of Guilan Province, Mohsen Sasani said on Tuesday, October 4th,
in the combined maneuver of fire
extinguishing, search and rescue and countering
sabotage in the Anzali Port Complex: “the
purpose of holding these maneuvers in
the executive bodies of the country is actually improving the readiness of
these organizations to deal with emergency situations caused by the hostile and
destructive actions of the country's enemies.”
He stated that for this
reason, studies are being conducted in the executive bodies of the country,
including in the Ports and Maritime Organization, and added:”In important
ports, this issue has received more attention, and in the meantime, passive
defense studies were also conducted in the Anzali Port Complex.”
The deputy head of the
country's passive defense organization noted: “Based on these studies, the
maneuver plan was designed and practiced by the relevant officials, and it was
executed well today.”
Sassani continued: This
exercise was aimed at improving the readiness of port elements to deal with
emergency situations caused by the hostile and destructive actions of the
country's enemies, which compared to the movement that took place in our ports
about a year ago, today it has reached the stage of evolution and we have seen
it well in its implementation, and we saw this coordination and coherence in
various fields, including management, protection, safety, and the protection
unit against the various attacks that were predicted.
Stating that this
maneuver was a very good achievement for establishing coordination between the
elements involved in these exercises, he clarified: “Today we witnessed a
proper and satisfactory performance in the executed operations.”
